Teaching Schedule:

Strong & Slow
Mondays 8-9am, via Zoom 
Evolution Physical Therapy & Yoga
 

Strong & Slow classes incorporate core strengthening and other strengthening techniques in this slower-paced vinyasa style class. Don't let the name intimidate you! Moving at a slower pace, students may experience an opportunity to tune in to felt sensations and listen to what the body needs. This class will be gently challenging for yogis at any level.

Myofascial Tune-up
Tuesdays 7-8pm, via Zoom 
Evolution Physical Therapy & Yoga

Come find out and feel for yourself how the use of simple myofascial release techniques, that you can do yourself, can help you reduce muscle tension and restore calm and balance in the body. By providing a stimulating tissue massage, these techniques can improve range of motion, body alignment, flexibility, and posture, and are a terrific compliment to any yoga practice.

Myofascial Release 1: Head, Face, Neck, and Shoulders
Tuesday, June 16th, 7-8:30pm, via Zoom

Come find out and feel for yourself how the use of simple myofascial release techniques, that you can do yourself, can help you reduce muscle tension and restore calm and balance in the body. We all know that the neck is a common place for tension, but we can also carry a surprising amount of tension in our heads and faces! In this workshop, we'll explore ways to relieve "tech-neck," tension headaches, and even help to clear congestion and open up the sinuses. You'll need a small blanket or a yoga mat, and a tennis or racket ball.

Myofascial Release 2: Low Back, Hips, Legs, and Feet
Tuesday, July 14th, 7-8:30pm, via Zoom 
Evolution Physical Therapy and Yoga

This workshop will focus on relieving tension and pain in the hips, low back, and legs. We'll even have time for a foot massage! You'll need a small blanket or a yoga mat, a sturdy water bottle or a rolling pin (for baking!), and a tennis or racket ball.

Tuesday, August 18th, 7-8:30pm, via Zoom

If you work with your hands, this workshop is for you! Learn how to release rension and relieve pain in hard-to-reach places in your upper back. We'll also explore techniques for pecs, arms, and hands. For this workshop, you'll need a small blanket or a yoga mat, a sturdy water bottle or a rolling pin, and a tennis or racket ball.
